- Prefix and suffix: a fixed code for a brand, season or warehouse
- Auto number: counts per variant or per product, from a starting number you choose
- Product title abbreviation: set the number of characters, with an option to skip the first word (often the brand)
- Variant options: include option 1, 2 or 3, such as color or size
- Vendor and product type abbreviations
- A product or variant metafield, such as a supplier code

Can EasyScan generate SKUs for existing products?
Yes. Select products, a collection or your whole catalog, and EasyScan fills the SKU field for every variant. Existing SKUs are left alone unless you turn on overwrite.
Can new products get a SKU automatically?
Yes. Auto-assign gives new products and new variants a SKU and barcode when they are created. It is currently a preview feature and does not backfill older products.
Should I change SKUs I already use?
Check first. Other apps, feeds or suppliers that match products by SKU will see the new values. Try your pattern on one collection before running it across the catalog.
Can the SKU also be the barcode?
Yes. Generate both fields at once, or print labels whose barcode encodes the SKU.
How much does it cost?
