How to translate your EG rules into different languages

Make your EG promos accessible to everyone by translating the text from our app into different languages. Here's how:

1. Add a Language and Translate Common App Text:

• Open EG from Shopify Admin.
• Go to the "Design & Translations" page.
• Find the "Translations" section and add the language you want to support.
• Translate the general text used throughout the app (like button text and dropdown labels).
• Click "Save."

2. Translate Text Within Specific Rules:

• Make sure you've completed Step 1 (added the language).
• Open the specific rule you want to translate.
• Find the "Translations" section and click "Show more."
• Select the language you added in Step 1.
• Enter the translations for all the text within that rule.
• Click "Save."

3. Test Your Translations:

• Visit your online store.
• Change the language setting on your store.
• Verify that all the translated text appears correctly.
