What is EG?
EG is an app that lets you automatically include products in your customers' carts when specific trigger conditions are met.

How do I install it?
You can install it from the Shopify App Store here.

How many rules can I have?
You can create as many rules as you like. How many can be active at once depends on your plan: 1 on the Free plan, up to 3 on Standard, and unlimited on the Unlimited plan.

How do I edit or delete a rule?
Click the rule name to open and edit it. You can delete the rule from the same page.

What is a trigger?
A rule runs when a customer's cart meets its trigger. Triggers can be based on cart value, specific products, collections or product tags.

Can I stop a customer removing the reward product?
No. Shopify requires customers to keep full control of their cart, so no app can lock an item in place. You can stop customers adding the reward themselves outside the rule, and have EG remove the reward automatically when the cart no longer qualifies.

What does the option to remove added products when the trigger is no longer met do?
This applies if a customer meets a rule's trigger (for example reaching a specific cart value), then changes their cart so the condition is no longer met (for example removing an item so the cart value drops below the threshold). If the option is on, EG removes the reward from the customer's cart when this happens. It must be on if the rule uses an EG automatic discount.
